Pick’n Flicks: Project X

Project X is an out-of-control comedy that follows a group of buds who set out to throw the most epic 17th birthday party ever. The film documents a high school party that gets completely out of control, shot from the perspective of the digital cameras that the kids have with them.” 

Directed by Nima Nourizadeh, the film stars Thomas Mann, Miles Teller, Oliver Cooper, Jonathan Daniel Brown, Kirby Bliss Blanton, Dax Flame, Nichole O’Connor, and Alexis Knapp.

Why should you be excited about Project X? That is because Project X is produced by Todd Phillps, the writer and director for the Hangover. Some are saying this movie is like taking the best parts from the Hangover and mixing them with Superbad. The premise to me sounds like taking the Blair Witch Project or Paranormal Activity style of filming and mashing it with Can’t Hardly Wait. Guess I’ll have a better idea after I see it. Unfortunately the movie does not come out until March 2nd. All I know is with all the promo being pushed out about this flick, I am excited for it.
